STALL HOLDERS
The Woolmen Livery Fair is a fabulous opportunity for livery companies and businesses wanting to gain exposure/network within their community and with the general public in addition to direct sales; with a uniquely captive audience of individuals celebrating their liveries and the ‘Freedom of the City’, specialist wool and textile trades, traditional crafts and sustainable industry.
Stall Holders include liveries – ancient and modern (and some of whom sponsor partner organisations/college students/award winners or small businesses), with skilled tradespeople conducting interactive demonstrations of their fascinating and ever-evolving trades and selling their wares.
The Woolmen Livery Fair also brings together a number of specialist stall holders, displaying and selling their wool-based products, textiles, arts & crafts, quality gifts and food & drink. Other fun activities have included expert blade shearing displays, some wonderful rare breed sheep, the NFU children’s Discovery Barn, face painting and more!
All of this takes place in support of the celebratory re-enactment of Freemen exercising their right to drive their sheep over the Thames, toll free into the City to market.
We are extremely flexible with regards to what Stall Holders do and are always keen to discuss options and ideas for this unique event.
If you are a Livery Company, wool creator or crafter and interested in having a stall at the fair, we would love to hear from you. Please contact the Sheep Drive Team via liveryfairenquiries@woolmen.com
